Apparantly TV3 are looking into hosting a Thursday Night EL Preview show.

that would be good so it could put pressure on rte to produce a better programme.

Personally i prefer setanta, but supersaint is right. bigger potential audience from rte, no matter how they market it, if they do at all.

Has anyone heard of any further details of the highlights package that RTE will be producing for the season? Living in Edinburgh means that I obviously can attend games but last season I could watch them on RTE.ie. Would be great if I can get the highlights too.

All that is know is it will be 8-9pm on Monday nights. No information on the format (all games shown, interviews, previews etc...? ) & I believe the FAI going to work with RTE on it.

8-9 pm would be a much better slot than the TV3 timing over the last few years. Any ideas who the pundits would be? Most original answer wins Fcek All!

Packie Bonner too spoke about his desire to have a strong national league on Off The Ball last night.

Osam gets a different reaction from different people though. Some find him boring to the point its like hypnosis or narcolepsy kicking in and others find him nauseating and feel like prising off their kneecaps with rusty screwdrivers as a result. The point is people will have different views of pundits. If the pundit in question is really bad then all the views will be bad, that's the chance you've got to take.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
