What about packages for the 2 games? I think if the travel companies do the double, it will have to be the way to go. Did anyone do the Albania - Georgia double with a travel agent?? It will be expensive but I don't know if going solo will be that much cheaper, and the trouble..........![]()

Here's a cheap option:
Thurs. Sept 4/ Monday Sept 8 Dublin - Riga return with Ryanair €92
Fri. Sept 5/ Sun Sept 7 Riga - Tibilisi return with airbaltic €145.
Only snag is arriving into Tibilisi 3am and leaving at same time night of match but it's a great price. Unfortunately i cant make it beause no reasonable way from Tibilisi to Montenegro, so it's just Montenegro for me.

I've actually paid for my flights incl Tbilisi to Prague. As per the website they only appear to fly from April to October but that is fine for us.
Ya maybe if I was 12 years old and leaving the country for the first time I might feel thee same....... Sure you can fly into Malta for the Italy match, get a boat to Italy and then get a train to wherever the match is.....
Personally, I'd well prefare to fly direct Tbilisi - Podgorica!
Anyway, Georgian Airways fly from a few handy destinations in Europe i.e. Vienna, Paris (at decent times). But you don't seem to be able to book it on-line. Check it here: http://www.airzena.com/index.php?m=2.

Spent toomuch time trying to find a scheduled overland or sea route.
Sailing the Black sea takes too long - you don't arrive in Varna until the day of the Montenegro game
Similarly with rail - You'd need to leave Tbilisi immediately after the game, if I have things right, and then you are reliant on all connections working to time, getting minibuses at the right paces at the right times, not really having more than an hour anywhere to get off the train and buy food, and so on. Must go through Turkey as the troublesome North Western Corner is blocked at the moment what with some place (Astrakhan? I cannot recall) deciding it is a country, and Russia kind of nodding it on.
So, What I am reckoning, for the adventurous type, is buying a van in Tiblisi, setting off the morning after, and going hell for leather on the quieter Turkish roads, driving for about 18 hours a day, for the following three days, not including time spent at border control, going Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro (Uncertain of the current situation in Kosovo, and the speed you could manage the back roads through Kosovo at). The fourth day should be about 8 hours travel, and you should arrive in Podgorica for 16h. If the van doesn't die, you don't get stopped by cops wanting a bribe, remember to bring enough food, don't encounter a major "cattle on the road" incident, don't annoy any North Eastern Turkish Kurds, you should make the game with time for a pint. As long as it isn't a three o'clock kick off.
I'm up for it - anyone else?
By the way, I should mention that I don't drive...
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.
Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!
