As Irishmen we dilute our sense of nation by depending on the English to bring us our balls

He can't return to Ireland until next season, but can sign anywhere in the UK- my guess being that he'll end up in Scotland.

He's still playing for Cardiff, so I don't know how accurate that is. He played for Cardiff reserves last week.

It changes every week. Seemingly there is £30 million owed to a financial company, but Ridsdale denies it. Yet on the other hand, they're able to afford Hasselbaink and Fowler. Somethings definitely suspect there.

I presume Cardiff just cancelled Jason Byrnes contract to allow him to be able to sign for a club after todays deadline.

Possibly, but he won't be allowed move country as there's the whole international clearance thing. Isn't that what delayed George O'Callaghan's move to Ipswich? Who's now been released

His contract hasn't been cancelled. There was recent interest from Sweden but nothing came of it when the manager of the concerned club was sacked.

George O'Callaghan couldn't agree terms with Brighton so his deal has fallen through apparently.

I think he went on loan.
He wanted to hold on to his Ipswich wages I suppose and a bit of match practice may push him into contention yet.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.
