In breaking Sports news ,Sligo Rovers mascot ‘Benny the Bull’ was kidnapped up in Croke Park on Saturday at the All Ireland quarter final between Sligo and Cork, and was last seen socialising in Quinns in Drumcondra after the football match. Anyone who sees Benny can ring the radio station on 071 9118100 to be in with a chance to win two free tickets to the upcoming European championship qualifier between Ireland and Germany in Croke Park.
It is vitally important that Benny be returned to the Showgrounds in time for Saturday night’s Eircom League of Ireland Premier Division clash against Bray Wanderers which kicks off at 7.45 in the Showgrounds.
