He'd be better off waiting and going to Everton imo.

Hope the clown realises now that he could have been a legend at Leeds for life had he not signed for the dreaded United. Never understand why people throw away their legacy in football for a bit of extra cash. I'm only surprised he hasn't washed up at West Ham
It's not just that Leeds fans'll never forgive him for going to Man U, it's the fact that the stupid little fecker scuppered a bidding war to ensure it was Man U he went to rather than Arsenal or Liverpool. Moving to Man U is, in my view, perfectly understandable, but to do that to your hometown club when they were vulnerable and needed every penny is what makes his move unforgiveable.
The contemptable little ***** should've been sold instead of Robbie Keane much earelier anyway. Misplaced sentimentality on the part of those at Leeds kept him there ...repayed with foulest treachery.
" I wish to God that someone would be able to block out the voices in my head for five minutes, the voices that scream, over and over again: "Why do they come to me to die?"
Strange signing for me. Hardly prolific and with Viduka, Owen, Martins, Luque and Ameobi there he's got his work cut out to get a game up front.

Great player though, its very enjoyable to watch somebody with such commitment, convinced Newcastle fans will take a shine to him big time.

Is he though when you break it down? No doubting his effort and commitment but lets look at it...
As a striker he's not prolific, good player but not a player capable of getting more than 15 a season IMO.
As a midfielder he's tenacious but ultimately lacks the passing ability and natural instinct of a midfielder which isn't his fault since he's primarily a striker.
I can see him being used as a utility player this season and then get moved on again in a couple as his career winds down.
