I thought, having read what Emily had said, that I wouldnt be shocked. How wrong was I! Watchin it I felt sick with shock. Much and all as I despise Charley I was upset for her. SHE felt guilty bout the situation when she had done nothing! That was the only way she could deal with it obviously. They were absolutely right to remove Em from the house, sure I dont think she intended malice by it but by using that word it is making it acceptable for others to use and that is just not on. BB acted responsibly by taking her out.

Having seen it last night, I reckon Charlie kept on bringing it up to get Emily evicted. If it had just been said once, I think they would have just edited it out, but when Charlie kept bringing it up, it seemed she knew what she was doing and wanted to get her evicted.
That said, once they mentioned racist remarks, Big Brother acted correctly in removing her.
On another point, did ya see just after she said it, Emily started shouting things like "McDonalds, Starbucks, Pepsi", in the hope that they would edit out the remarks because of the brandnames.
It was stupid what Emily did, and there's no way she is racist. FFS her best friend in the house was black! I thought she came out of it very well in the diary room.

Not all black people think it is ok for them to use it either and they are tryin to stop that too. It is unacceptable whoever says it in my book but it is kinda accepted by society when a black person says it so that is why nothing happened to Charley when she said it.
As for Emily, I dont think she is racist. Just silly. She is an intelligent girl & cant believe she was that stupid. Yeah the whole McDonalds Pepsi stuff was an example of her being clever to cover up.
In honesty I think that Charley was just shocked & thats y she went on & on about it. I know most girls go over & over things that have happened when they cant quite believe it & need to make sense of it in their heads. Its one of the fundamental differences between males & females. Females discuss it to sort it in their heads, males bottle it up.
There is only one black girl in the house Charley ( kieren Richardsons cousin you know) and her and Emily where far from friends .
