    Whats with the sountrack?

    "Ive been asleep,

Was that intentional self mocking, or what????

TC go for the win as 3 points could have us above Sligo on Friday night .

Sorry lads for not commenting about Friday's result any sooner as I only have just got back from the moon , not many United fans up there but I did see a half a banner left by one which said "never send a boy on a" I will only have to guess what the rest of it was .
No but a fantastic result .
NO FEAR , NO FEAR , NO FEAR to whoever we play ,onward and very much upward .

Just watched the goals there (thanks for the link btw) Absolutely effin class! I had my doubts about signing him but he showed his class there. If he can keep lamping them in like that he'll push for top scorer. He has only started 3 games and has 4 Quigley is on top with 9 but afaik he started most of Pats games this season. Great individual efforts he had quite a bit to do once he got the ball. If he gets tracked by a UK team in time he shouldn't let go for less than a million!!

On the match itself it was as good a performance as ive seen from any Galway United Team and they fully deserved their win and it could have been by more .

On a seperate point Philip had a very good game after a ropey first 25 mins and his pass to Derek O'Brien for the firsr goal was excellent and another of the players who is constantly slagged off here John Lester had a fantastic 90 mins.People who were at the game will remember it for many years to come and ALL the Team deserve the plaudits and credit Tony for not being afraid to change a winning team.

I thought you might have just returned after celebrating such a win 2 days earlier! Fair play for getting up at that time to work on a Sunday!

Lester was mostly slagged for the weight he was carrying which I think he has overcome at this stage. He was in the back four possibly due to lack of speed however Bernie had him as his MOTM and James seemed to prosper in his new role for United too. Good to see the flexibilty of the squad. Unfortunately I didnt make the game but there was plenty of roaring at the radio during the 90mins!

It's actually probably 11:25 or possibly 11:20 - TV3 seem to have some problem with getting their scheduling right and it always starts early, which is not helpful if you've set a reminder on your TV for it!

from a biased galway united supporter i thought it was the best goal ive seen all season form the few we have scored but from the many ive sen on el weekly. i hope other el fans who watch tv3 el weekly will be of the same opinion. great alround team performance with the most pleasing aspect being that united were still confident enough to push forward in the last ten minutes. well done to all of the lads. best away trip ive had result wise. many more to follow
