Where did the UCD figures come from? We have 1,450 seats and a bit more than 1,000 terrace.

I see they have Longford listed as terrace - 6,700-ish SEATS there anyway

Bohs also have far more than 3,000 seats now

Can anyone confirm/dispute the other seat figures?

Even with just the few we have noticed (Bohs, UCD, Longford & the new Galway) these add over 13,000 to the seated capacity of the league - bringing it up near the 56,k mark - or, to put it another way - an increase of 148% OVER the 1996 levels.

    Sounds good, doesn't it?

I think we have passed the 'we're not there, but we are getting there'
    & moved on to
'a lot done, more to do'

Where have all the seats gone?
    They were stolen be leprechauns.

Actually that part of the stand has a dodgy roof or something and the licensing bods made Harps close it, and with our move imminent it makes no sense to spend big money on refurbishment. The current seats are entirely different, being effectively a temporary stand erected inside the main stand.

tolka also holds a good deal less than advertised. Bohs have no terrace (people aren't allowed stand at the side). I think the official Pats safe holding capacity is 5,400. No way can Derry hold 5,000 in the terrace either. UEFA licensing has effectively shown some of these figures up as shams...

good ahead and fix them on wikipedia then, or in the case of the clubs with question marks, have them put SOMETHING on their official site about it rather than leaving it as guess work. my little whistle stop tour of el websites drove me a bit mad to be honest, half of the sites look like they're done by 10 year olds or have been dragged out of 1997 kicking and screaming

Pats actually have 1823 seats at the minute not including directors box or press areas. Soon to be more of course.

Have Pats decided where they're going to play their home games?

I presume UEFA have a deadline by which you have to name a ground.

if you'd actually looked at wikipedia, under flancare park you'd see that the capacity, stated capacity at least is 4,500 all seater, theres no terracing and only room for a couple of sdtanding patrons
