when will the objection be heard?
I was speaking to a pike man and aparently the protest is two fold, first as outlined above kenneth kiely played in munster senior cup and also FAI senior cup for limerick(against drogheda) and secondly Alan Coady( striker) was sent off against st Michaels 2 weeks ago and clonmel never had a game in between michaels and pike game therefore he never served the automatic one match ban which is mandatoty... they had a game scheduled but they got a walk over from st nicolas but seeminly the TS&DL committee never met in between to officially give a walkover(points haven't been awarded on website yet)..
If both are true clonmel are in trouble.. you have to question how the h*ll their committeee and secretary made this mistake !!! its a pity to see this but rules are rules and are there for everyone...
when will the objection be heard?
mick noonan is chairman of the ldmc a week and pike have an objection gone in already its a funny old world.a team gets knocked out of a cup these days and the first thing they do is appeal it,junior football is becoming a fiasco
Unbelievable
as regards the rule about ex LOI players i don't think its anything to do with what competitions a player played in its about when the players were "regraded" as junior players they had to recieve permision from the FAI, Local League and the munster concil to play in their respective competitions
the Munster concil did not give that permission so that is why the likes of Derek McCarthy, Davy Ryan and Shane Guerin cannot play
If both alegations are proven too be true, the best of luck to pike...
are ye not sick of hearing about appeals?
people may be sick of appeals but if clubs are breaking the rules they should be punished. if thats the case pike should have played McCarthy and balla should play there 2 lads.
clonmel should get thrown out and pike back in.
Low blow S/Circle... Pitch dim's are part of the rules too.....
something has to be done about EL players playing junior the rule is obviously not clear its popped up afew times recently maybe the new LDMC might sort it,we live in hope.......
im sick of objections there was a big 1 in 3B recently
its not the ldmc. it is the munster council who has this rule. if a player plays more than 5 senior games in the eircom league they cannot play munster junior.
this rule is a bit stupid as u can still play fai no matter how many games you play in the eircom league.
Kenneth Kiely was ok to play as he is an U-21 player. The rule only appliers if you are over 21. In relation to Alan Coady, it is a tricky one. Town got a walkover so they can argue that this counts as a game as it wasn't postponed.
Just have to wait and see
thats very thin ice they're walking on there
they got a walk over but was it "officially ratified " by the TS& DL..points and games still have NOT been applied on website http://www.tsdl.ie/league.asp.. its a tricky one !!!
In my opion if you played league of Ireland in 2006 you should not be allowed to play junior football until the 2007/2008 season, the fact that you can go from playing LOI in november and then go and play in the FAI junior cup in december is a joke.

If You play 5 or more senior games it does not matter what age you are...
i think the rule is if you are under 21 it still does not make a difference. if clonmel get away with this and kiely is left play then surely balla can play there guy no.
