Ya have to commend Kelly on that piece in the paper. was very good of him to tell the background of Niall's past but without going into too much detail. In fairness niall was very ****ed off in the way he was treated at celtic but he's such a nice chap he would never admit it. No your right Grape vine i dont think any REAL celtic people would begrudge him this day of glory but for the people who never gave him a chance its a fairytale ending . Everone knows how committed Gallagher is and its been a long time but now i belive he's found the right home . Another victory for the common man

To be fair Niall was the Junior keeper went Celtic were Senior League. When the club left the Senior league all the players were regraded back to Junior half way through the Junior league season and the management at that time picked the senior keeper ahead of Niall even after he kept 5 clean sheets in a row. It was a call by management and happens in every club when a player comes back from injury etc. It was a hard call and nothing could be done by the committee as their was no solution. They could not pick the team. Niall was a great clubman as was/is the senior keeper and everyone was very disappionted that he left. He was great with the youths and all felt that we lost a good keeper and great person. He would always be welcomed back to the club. As for TK's arcticle he was not forced out of the club.

Chris if its castlebar Celtic your looking For its as Follows...

you will be coming into the town via the N5. First roundabout take the 2nd exit. Go on to the next roundabout and take the 2nd exit also. shortly after this you may see the ground to your left. then you take the first road to the right ( Beside the fire station) Go on till you come to a T junction ( Beside Lybrary) Take the right also. Then just a few yards up beside the tennis courts there is the enterance to Celtic!! ( Castlebars 2nd best Ground )
    Whos playing anyhow

    Ballyheane awaits Scotty.....

Brilliant news for ballyheane f.c. the search for a quality striker looks to be arriving shortley...! providing James Scott ( scotty ) can get work in mayo he has said he will be joining ballyheane, what a lift he will bring , the way ballyheane has been talked about since peter bourke left was nothing but relagation and negative vibes... a few more additions and Murph's Green Army will hold there own....

He would be a great signing and if you can add a few more players Ballyheane will have no problem staying in the SL. Is that enough for the club, just staying in the SL and beating Celtic & Westport now and then.

Have to beat Manulla first and foremost. Hard to compete with the top three with their resources, thats not a lack of ambition just a fact of life.
