Wont be that bad i think maybe only 2 nil, once they have the game wrapped up will they be bothered putting on a show for the home crowd.
Manager will probably empty the bench early not that that will help us much

    The weather might help us.
I think we might get a draw

Every time I think we're about to get thumped, we either put on a decent backs-to-the-wall performance (like last month) or get swept away in the first 20 minutes and then nothing else happens (like you suggest)

I'd be quite ok with that again to be honest. Can't see anything better. We can't even really hope for a red card or a penalty save given how many of those we've had lately.

Though I think we are due one of those games where we just get steamrolled - bit like how the Hungary game in September might have gone.

If the 1-0 HT score for Hungary holds, we'll need a draw today and then we'll have to beat Hungary by at least three in Budapest.

They’re not that bad. They’re fast and can break well. And their keeper has some real quality

We're in miracle-required territory. We need a win tonight to be honest. Beating Hungary by two is the least likely of options.

Interesting to see what's he's planning with Collins

traffic mental for anyone heading out tonight. don't like the team. i'd have gone 5-3-2 with Ebosele replacing Scales and either that midfield 3 or McGrath replacing either Taylor or Azaz who were both poor recently for Ireland and Idah and Parrott up top (Idah instead of Ogbene)

I think the having Scales and Coleman as your two wing backs is just going to invite them on to us and gives us no means for breaking or getting out. Parrott's relatively lack of pace means he's the worst of the three in total isolation. As for Chio, I'm still not convinced that he's fully ok after that injury.

The Portuguese warm-up tops are so much nicer than ours.

We need Puma to take over from Castore. Then we might improve

I think we can conclude we will almost certainly lose one of the games, which means we're out.

But look, let's see what happens. That bench looks dreadful if we need to change it around

    Hello!

Parrott's been excellent so far. Really deserves that

    Well now.

Something to motivate a backs-to-the-wall night of heroics.
