So I don't believe SBGWA is arguing in good faith. Notice they posted in the game week thread where this debate is irrelevant. It has nothing to do with this game week. They did the same thing with the future ticketing lawsuit last week. They are trolling to get a response and doing a fairly obvious job of it at that. Hence my response to them

Actually you are right I shouldn't have posted in this thread about it , is get ****ed off myself when threads go off on a tangent when I want to read about football. I've responded in the loi promotion thread.

On the football side of things that 6 to 1 win for Dundalk is a big boost to goal difference as well. Cobh somehow need to get to the last day of the season with the gap at a max of 3 for the game against dundalk but GD could play a part to. The playoffs are starting to look interesting with 3 of the probable candidates of cobh bray and Ucd looking good enough on current form to have a chance in a one off game against probably Galway.

I wouldn't go that far but the poor discipline needs to be addressed.
I know First Division referees can be absolutely dreadful at times. Some of the ridiculous decisions gone against Kerry over the last few years are indefensible. Shots cleared off the line by defenders that Gaelic Football defenders would be proud of! Kerry have to keep their composure though. Annoyance at poor refereeing can't be boiling over headless indiscipline.
Poor discipline. Poor overall all round play. Kerry used to play a better brand of football. Been without their talisman striker for most of the season then as well though. One more win would mean a new points total record. It's a strange one. Hard to gauge if there actually is progress. The final league table tells the story.

    A Championship: 4 years - 8 first teams - 0 financially ruined. First Division '14: 7 first teams.
Opportunity lost for new clubs/regions to join the LoI family.

4pts out of 6 in a week for Cork. An away draw against 2nd place in the league.

    Is there still life there?

I'm not seeing it happening, those 4 points out of 6 have come against two teams in poor runs of form, Cork have more new injuries and they would be relying on Sligo hitting a drought of wins until the end of the season
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians

As dreary a game at the Brandywell that you'll see, a game certainly lacking fireworks. Getting harder to watch football on that surface.

Interestingly both sligo and corks next two games are against bohs and Waterford, Cork will need to get another couple of points back there and maybe they can dream

Athlone worked really hard, but completely ran out of steam in the last 20min, and Dundalk ran riot.

But overall, hard to believe Athlone haven't won in 16 (I think). Tettah in particular looked to have something about him.

Vaughan and Garbett (from injuries) are two very good additions to the Dundalk squad. Gives a new dimension.

Eoin Kenny. A man reborn. What a player.
Was the Athlone centre half replaced at HT?

Yeah, thats the one. Almost felt bad for him.

He could barely kick the ball at times.

That feels like 2 points dropped and an opportunity to put some daylight between ourselves and Shels in 5th.

Draw probably fair. We were too passive in the second half. Mind you DJT will be having nightmares about that chance.

He should have went down in the box the defender was shoving into his back.
But having stayed up, yeah had to score, still nice to see him back.
We really really need two big strong centre backs who kick **** out of the opposition, every one of ours is either too soft too slow or useless.
Draw probably fair though , but both managers will be upset at the awful defending.
