About 50 kerry fans in Oriel Park tonight. The away section is a health hazard unfortunately. Broken seats everywhere and an electric cable running across the back row within catching distance. I presume it wasn't live. In fairness the stewards and Dundalk fans in general were very friendly and asked us if we wanted to go into the stand. The attendance was announced as 1500.

There are 100-150 seats reserved front of stand for away fans, for pretty much all FD games they should allow all away fans in there full stop. Get to mingle with home fans in both bars, experience a bit of craic, banter, that away section needs to be demolished. End of.

Good crowd of Waterford fans in Richmond Park and they got plenty coverage on tv. Away section in stand full and another 30 or so on the terace so maybe 300 or so?

So, no sign of the legendary UCD fan who usually turns up banging a drum throughout, with a few flags set up!

There's been a trend over the previous two seasons for attendances to drop off in the summer months, before rebounding again between August and the end of the season, so seems to bear no relation to whatever form the team has been showing.

Is that Shels (Shelbourne v Shamrock Rovers 5633), biggest home attendance so far and nearly the maximum safe capacity allowed at Tolka of approximately 5,750?

Was that Finn Harps (Finn Harps v Wexford 703) smallest home attendance so far and possibly over the last few years!
