Well my vote is only ever a casting vote, so it was a something or other of a promise really. A wotsitcalled - where it sounded like I was promising something good but I wasn't really

A John Delaney... no wait, that never sounded like something good unless you were a complete moron.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Actually, a "piecrust promise" is the phrase I was looking for. Easily made, easily broken. Mary Poppins.

2012. Something about the open collar and the vertical stripe that gives it a bit of presence.
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!

Almost neck and neck between 2016 and 2012 as we head into the second half of that battle.

Not quite neck and neck between 2021 and 1990 - 13-1 the final score there and the Italia 90 kit canters on to the last 8.

Next up - the never-worn 1998-00 third kit, which goes up against the USA 94 kit.

2016 and my all time favorite 94.

My father actually has the 94 kit signed by every one of the 94 squad. Met them all in Orlando through some competition. It was worn to matches for years and been through multiple washes so the signatures are not as pristine as they should be!

I don't much like either of the next lot, so I'm going to abstain from voting.

Considered doing the same but will throw my meagre weight behind the 98-00 one.

Cornette, objectionable, smug and full of bile as he is, really is wrestling's answer to Martin O'Neill.

    Really nice jersey
The green diamond at base of collar.
    The tricolour trimmings.
    The slightly darker collar.
    Class!

Now now, Cornette has some use still. His interviews are still gold and somewhat relevant.
