Swings and roundabouts, I’m sure Finn Harps (along with every other team in the league) have been done by a horrendous refereeing decision this season too.

If Cork are relegated it won’t be that decision's fault, it'll be because they’ve been absolutely terrible all season

This decision potential puts us down.
The only thing it could have been given for is Dalling impeding the keeper, harsh no doubt but maybe it looked different from the angle the ref was looking at it from.

Looked like the Waterford keeper was obstructed alright at the 4 second mark though the clip gets fuzzy at that point, I'm sure the referee had a clearer view of it, no conspiracy against Cork

Meant to say by the way, the stream on YouTube live of UCD vs Cabinteely the other night was absolutely impeccable. Perfect picture quality, replays, better commentary from Jamie Moore (having a knowledge of the game and also a knowledge of who the players are!), it really was streets ahead of WatchLOI in my opinion. A company called Doppler Media was the production team. Fair play to them

Agree, the UCD stream was fantastic. Fair play to all involved!

There is going to be some scrap for 3rd and 4th now but Waterford / Shels / Sligo only have 2 games left.

If Dundalk beat Derry tomorrow that will put us 4 clear of Waterford with a game in hand, and who we play next, so should be in a good position to finish 3rd, if we lose tomorrow night, it could be quite tight as only 3 games left then to make sure of the guaranteed euro spot.

On the Cork v Waterford game, shocking decision on the disallowed goal, but agree with an earlier comment, it wont be this single decision, it will be 10 defeats and only 8 goals scored that will have done the damage for Cork if they do finish bottom.

I don’t disagree with the comments here at all. We’ve been abysmal. The frustrating thing is under Healy we’re set up well, but likely to run out of games. Decisions like that one are clearly going to be very frustrating. Maybe it was given for obstruction. I don’t think it was obstruction, but I’m obviously biased. But at least it could explain it. There certainly seemed like nothing from Cian Coleman.

Anyway, we move on. We were the better side yesterday though, so there’s slight cause for optimism. But as alluded further up the thread, we don’t seem to be able to stick the chances away.

Are Rovers players planning another Covid party to celebrate?

Except for when Shamrock voted against Harps (and every other team in the Premier league) during the restart. Shamrock quickly forgot their part of the Premier Club Alliance when it suited them. It was two fingers to all premier clubs including Harps.
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!

Yes - saw a bit of this and was impressed. Why have UCD only been doing this recently? When they played Drogheda, it was left to the Drogs to bring along their own camera crew and commentator.

I guess there were other things for a small club to prioritise at covid time.

These party rumours are absolutely comical. Aaron Green, McEneff, Lafferty and Pico all at the same house party! That's a fairly diverse gathering of blokes who don't hang around together!

To be honest, the 2 fingers was mainly directed at the mouthy sligo chairman. Get in line minion! 😋

Funny one isn't it? Really is a no brainer with the size of the club's fanbase.

I'm a socialist and don't believe in the mighty ganging up on the weak.
Happy to see Rovers standing up for the first division teams and making sure they had a chance at promotion.....
