Has any team had 4 midfielders banned at the same time before?

Hery’s suspension down from four to three games and Aborah’s from six to four games.

Waterford have been partially successful in appealing bans arising from the "Battle at the RSC".

    Fair enough.
Hopefully everyone learned their lesson & we move on.

    I've no problem with that.

    Me neither, it's just ironic.

About as ironic as an Alanis Morissette song.

Glad to hear that Colm is doing well. Don't get me wrong, great guy, very honest professional and hard worker, but a very ordinary Premier Division player. I hope he keeps it up but doubt he will to be honest - he should do better surrounded by better players at least.
    roddy collins you're a flanker you're a flanker!

Hope he plays next week, I'd be confident with Duffy up against him.

Would you not be confident with Duffy against anyone in his current form? He'll definitely play next week. I think the two young lads will start centre half too. We've been very solid at the back since they came it. A lot of pressure of course, but huge opportunity for them

I presume by the two young lads you mean Conor McCarthy and Seán McLoughlin. If they are the centre back pairing, I expect Pat Hoban will be a bigger test than either have experienced so far - how they cope is likely to have a big impact on the outcome.

I also suspect that John Caulfield will want to vary the tactical approach or formation to provide more protection for Horgan or whoever plays at right back - Michael Duffy is in frightening form

Yep, no question it'l be their toughest test so far.

Shep always does a fair amount of defensive work anyway, so not sure the formation will change too much. Buckley could come back in to give a bit more protection in the middle, we've been struggling there.

I thought the view from Cork was that Buckley being suspended was a good thing, at least that’s the impression that was given on here.

From fans yes, from Caulfield no.

Personally, I'm happier when we play without him. But JC is a big fan, and he does offer more defensively than others. My issue is that I don't think we need to be that defensive against most teams.

That said, the middle 2 have been struggling, so I won't be overly annoyed to see Buckley start for his work rate. Personally if were going that route though I'd have Jimmy ahead of him
