Cant imagine there would have been too many Drogs down on a Mon night either, actually that was very decent of them to accommodate Cork on a Mon night agreeing to bring the game forward from June, when they had nothing to gain. mmmmmmm
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).

Drogs moved a match from July to June because of Europe last year for us aswell. We hammered them 6-0 in the end.

Especially with an away trip to Sligo in a few days. The Drogheda management are asking a lot from their players.

They can now give the players time off in July to make up for it, players might have prefered that
    Here on a technicality.

Well it was going to have to be re-arranged anyway because of Europe so Drogheda probably felt a Monday in May was a better bet than a Monday in late August/September. Other clubs have agreed to similar requests from clubs recently. It's definitely preferable for all to have the games early as the longer they leave it, the more complications can arise

I think I heard 1116 at Deacy Park for visit of Bohs for a mighty exciting game. The Ryan Connolly goal was good, classy finish to great move.

Official attendance was 1,106 at Eamonn Deacy Park.

I would've hoped for 1,400 or 1,500 heading into the game. That figure is honestly a huge disappointment and it's a huge letdown for the club. We're playing really good stuff at the minute and we're getting results and those numbers just won't cut it. That was our lowest attendance of the season in the league I think. Very disheartened by the attendance.

If Galway keep playing an attractive style of football and market it to the people of Galway, attendances are bound to rise.

    Waterford United - Cabinteely: 585.

Biggest crowd of the season I think. Very good attendance considering we hadn't won a home since last October. Along with been bottom of the table and with just one win this season plus Cabinteely wouldn't be much of a crowd puller either.
