They were missing the likes of Gary Higgins, Gary Leahy, Brian McGorrian and Alex cole, no keepers either!
Why play a good team like that if missing so many players. .
What difference does it make they've a huge squad to choose from.

Carew only beat bridge utd 3-2 I think last summer?
Carew got to the fai quarter final last season beaten by st michaels who won it out. The season before they got to the semi final beaten by sheriff who won it out. How did the bridge and olympic get on? Not trying to put down those teams but carew are a far superior team. I don't know anyone who would be surprised they beat olympic 6-1...
tino has signed but told olympic he is going back to college in galway and would only be available weekends ? why bother signing him ?

Ha ha no i don't think so. No harm in testing yourself against a top side to see where your at
not a very good test if hammered 6-1 ?? and to make it worse they went in with under strenght team and no goalkeepers
