Worst Ive seen from us in a very long time... worse than the Euros. Keogh the worst central defender in green since Butler played him half a cap against Jan Koller.
    Its really not that complicated!!!

    All over.

Man of the match for us was Curtis Fleming, I thought. Enjoyed the commentary, which makes a big change. Thought it was at times insightful and at times involved; you could hear their frustration.

45th to 75th minute was decent. Other than that...

Georgia and Gibraltar is a nice start to the Euros.

Ha, did Ronaldo just refuse Pearce's jersey swap proposal? Brass neck on Pearce asking for his jersey.

I agree stutts he needs to learn to cradle it and hold on.

I keep thinking about now this place would explode tomorrow if trap were still in charge. I know the players are tired and looking forward to vacation but how long in mols grace period? Is the honeymoon over?

Hmm, starting to wonder where our next win will come from...

Certainly won't be expecting France in two years time, unless there's a massive shift?

All I can grasp from this is that O'Neill must surely now know who makes the grade and who doesn't.

Meyler, Hendrick, Doyle, Wilson and Pilkington have all played themselves firmly into O'Neill's plans.

Pearse neutral. Ward, Keogh and Kelly nowhere near good enough.

    Hoolahan essential.

Coleman, O'Shea, McCarthy and Wilson certain starters. Dunne might be licking his lips. Delaney not threatened by anyone on this tour.

Goalkeeper a worry. Definitely a chance for Westwood to get into that team and the door is also open for Reid and Brady.

Is the honeymoon over? Yes, but if we learn the essential facts I think we can stem the flow and get better.

oman is looking like an inspired choice of opposition.

Agree with pretty much all that. Im confident that O'Neill will take the lessons from it whereas Trap would have stubbornly ploughed on. We wont know until the qualifiers but when we get out first choice team on the field Id be confident enough, especially with Wes in the team, he makes us play some lovely dangerous football

Another friendly down, another chance to learn. We had four strikers on the pitch for 15 minutes and no centre halves for 90. Ahh friendlies, always good for an aul experiment.

I think that was his problem, he half tried to catch it. He should've just shovelled it away. Header from six yards out at power when the keeper was coming across is not a handy claim.

There's what should be a decent side in that lot. Throw in Gibson too.

Kerr saying Hendrick isn't good enough, that the last time he saw him he was in the U21's against Montenegro

I quite like Ward too, he put in a good tackle at one point I think, not sure who was responsible
for a lot of the goals, all I see is blurry green blobs on my stream, like having 10 Andy Reids of the old days.

as an aside to the result, and the team, Portugal's defence didn't impress me at all
They've a tough group against Germany, Ghana and the US. I can see them going out in the first round.
