Wednesday are cash strapped, it seems, but hopefully McPhail gets a contract as his age and health issues might have limited his appeal to other clubs.

Training with Wednesday who he has been linked heavily with since Cardiff released him. Hopefully he gets a contract!

signed on a short term deal with Wednesday: http://www.swfc.co.uk/news/article/m...s-1065183.aspx
And they lose their first game 4-1 to Birmingham with McPhail making his debut. Pity as the side has been crying out for someone who can pass the ball to a player in blue and white stripes but since they were wearing their away strip, that didn't work out. Hopefully things might go a bit better against Doncaster on Saturday when they are at home.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
So it's OK for SWFC to pass the ball around a bit but not Ireland? I'm confused Ted![]()
Looks like SWFC could do with ..... drum roll ....
Andy Reid!
McPhail has put to bed rumours linking him to Shamrock Rovers. Says he wants to sign a new contract in Sheffield.

Deal extended by a month.
According to Garry Doyle, McPhail is currently in talks with Rovers and close to a deal: http://www.independent.ie/sport/socc...-29963390.html

DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Keith Fahey said that he wants to go back to England before he retires.
*whoosh*

Is the last real McPhail the McDLT?
No Somos muchos pero estamos locos.
Not many CL semi finalists in the LOI. Did he play any part in those games?
A guy I used to work with was a semi pro in Wales and took his coaching badges with McPhail. He said he exuded class in all the sessions. It'll be very interesting to see how he does. Between Fahy and McPhail I hope it's good for the profile of the league. Duffer will be next!
No, he was injured almost the entire season and was only back for the semis to sit on the bench. Leeds' run to the semis was remarkable in that they were playing with a threadbare squad for most of the year.
