Travelled up to Aughanagh. Game was supposed to start at 2:00. Referee arrived at 2:20, checked the pitch and match postponed. Disappointed that there was no game but at the same time glad, given the condition of the pitch, and I'm remaining diplomatic here about the description of the pitch. Having said that, the Aughanagh boys must have bought every loaf in the village with all the sandwiches they made and they just kept piling out the food. We'll be looking forward to the rematch and hopefully get through the tie.

We played on it recently. Tricky tight pitch but ye should have enough quality to get through it. Great feed afterwards though which is always a help!!!

the Galway league have called off all internal games. But they are leaving it to Clubs and referees for junior cup games. Depends on how the weather pans out I'd say, but with Mervues facilities that game should do.
