Ability has nothing to do with it, if you are 4-0 up at half time why change keepers for the sake of it?? I know he's a good keeper but a start in a game is what he'd want not a token gesture kind of thing when the game is wrapped up, wouldn't do either keeper any good.
That keeper butler is it is a joke ! Another two goals shipped last nite again that 4 in two game lets hope the group don't come down to goal difference why bring up sexton if he wasn't gonna use him Donal seen him in a action top drawer keeper he and why you ad crow or I mean our ball cause he is one of the best or aul had to offer that why!!
Big advantage in topping the group, you get home draw or a bye into the quarters.
I think the big difference is systems on how players are picked is the problem. I mean Donal goes to games to scout players for months on end and MSL committee ring up a club and say can you send down a few lads who might be interested. I mean come off it's not a game of ball amongst friends this is a fairly prestigious competition to win. Maybe the MSL know they won't win it but if this system doesn't change save us the bother and not enter at all.
Just wanted to say well done to Donal, his management and his players. I thought they were all top class Wednesday night . Donal should be commended on how he has stuck to his way of doing things and I think the result proved hes the right man for the job and it was evident that he has the full suppoort of his players in their display on the pitch . Again full marks to all concerned
Their's only one Dinny Pop's.
Well another weekend of fixtures well they be on or off ?

Douglas Hall (MSL) 3-0 Killumney
Leeview 1-1 Coachford A (Leeview won 5-3 on pens aet)
Rockmount 1-0 Dunbar Celtic
AUL 1:
Buttevant 3-0 Rathcoole Rovers
Leeview 2 Coachford 2 (we won 5-3 on pens). Great game. Outstanding performance from our boys. Paul Byrne was outstanding getting 2 tonight, justifying his selection in the OT panel. Not just him but all our guys played for the club tonight. Biggest compliment I can say is a member of the AUL committee said to me after the game that he couldn't tell which team were premier. Sorry for the biased post but what a scalp for us to take, I hope Coachford would say they gave us their all.
Some bigs shocks in last nights fai junior cup ! Great win for a division 3 team against premier champions, and Kilumeny beating by Douglas halls so called 4th team .. could be anyone's now to get to the open draw
