Fair point - just looking at Kerry/Clare/Desmond, 18 first round matches - leaves 18 + 2 bye into 3rd round ==> 20 teams in third round ==> 10 teams into 4th round ==> 5 out of town qualifiers??? Does that mean in essence there was no 1st round that all the games were 2nd round and 2 teams got bye into 3rd round???
Similar in Sligo/Ros/Letrim
26 1st round matches + 2 byes, no 2nd round ==> 28 teams in 3rd round ==> 14 into 4th ==> 7 out of town...
