Yeah eventful game today in the rain. Loads of grass on a very small pitch meant it was tight and played mostly in the air as both sides tried to play a territorial game. Tramore out of the blocks early and got a goal from a free which was punched clear and inadvertently off the knee of one of our defenders back into the goal. Very bad luck, but they had 2/3 one on ones after that where we got lucky they couldn't finish.
Should have been level and better by half time, some great chances created but not taken. Into second half and we dominated almost totally. They broke dangerously at times but it was all one way til our CB got sent off for kicking out. Had to go. We battled on with ten and missed a pen with 15 left but scored a pen with ten left. They had lad sent off for foul leading to second peno.
Disappointed in the end not to win it but can't fault the effort from us at all.

Even enough game both teams played great football, CIT unlucky not to get a point, CIT & Blarney will be there at the end of the season
keane cup 1/4 final crofton 3 midleton 4. we were 1 down at half time both teams had chances in first half. Second half we were alot better scored 3 quick goals with a hat trick from dave stack , the third was a beauty. Very comfortable,then had man unfairly sent off . We scored again through ricky gettings , and switched off a bit with crofton getting two late goals .
Ucc v rock mount seems to be the game of the weekend, how do ye see it going?
It'll be another tight game I'd say. Mount have steadied their ship and are better than people are saying and UCC will be under a bit of pressure to get their first 3 points. I'll go for a draw, I think this early in the season both teams just won't want to lose.
Blarney 2 ballincollig 3 keane cup 1/4 final,
Ballincollig seem to have improved ten fold, what's gone out there to see such a drastic improvement ?
Majority of there players who were playing elsewhere few years ago are back, think there was 4 playing last night who used play with blarney last few years, should get promoted and hold there own in first div next year if hold on to there players
