2013 LOI Betting Thread

Right. Back on the betting bandwagon this weekend methinks. I took a break there after week after week of crap results. I'm looking at you Cork!

Cork, Rovers, Pats, Limerick and Athlone done this week.

Was tempted to add in Harps and Waterford too but decided Cork and Rovers were already a big enough risk.

My silly accumulator consists this week of..

Shamrock Rovers v Bohs - over 2.5 goals
Salthill v Athlone - Athlone -1
Waterford v Wexford - goal in both halves
Sligo v Dundalk - Sligo win
Longford v Cobh - over 2.5 goals
Finn Harps v Mervue - Harps draw no bet
Shels v St Pat's - Over 1.5 goals
UCD v Limerick - Limerick draw no bet
Drogs v Derry - Derry draw no bet
Cork v Bray - Cork win.

Just 50 cent has potential returns of 110 euro. That'd be sweet.

Also stuck a few quid on Harps to win 2-1 against Mervue.

I don't like to waste too much money.

Treble of Sligo Rovers,Shams and Pats.But an hour after placing the bet I see that Matthews is gone from Shels,wouldn't be surprised if they get a draw in that game now!

Bang on draw for the Pats game, pile in!

PP throwing out some big enough odds on the FAI Cup games this weekend.

Mervue 9/2 against Bray is an interesting one. If Mervue have a full side I can see an upset there. Very fit, well organised and have goal threats in the likes of Manning and King especially.

Wexford 11/4 against Harps is also big odds considering they beat us last week and we won't have Kevin McHugh tonight.

College Corinthians are surely highly priced at 7/2 against Tolka Rovers?? Any MSL or LSL lads able to comment on that one?

Finally, are Phoenix worth a bet at +2 17/10 against Dundalk??


Went for Rovers -1, Bohs, Phoenix +2 and Shels accum at about 15/1.

Are Pike missing a load of players or something? 14/1 to beat Longford seems very long odds.

After a couple of rough weeks I got on fairly well tonite,done a treble of Drogheda,Bray and Pats.But UCD are my boogie team,no doubt they'll strike again tomorrow!

Not bad luck - just going on the whole ex player scoring against old club thingy, and someone mentioned last week he is as fit as a fiddle

Right, jinxing Athlone tonight. 6/4 to beat Mervue. May have another nibble on something else before kick off.

Edit: worked like a dream..the money is only small consolation.
