I have the greatest respect for managers and coaches in any league from schoolboys up to senior.....onefor is with a premier aul team he is not just only a manager.......Not nice to be slagging off fellas who are doing good for the game especially a local team to me.....on the MSL forum the other night there were fellas slagging off another manager even though pre season hasnt even started.....I hope this forum dont turn into a bitch fest

would some one please tell me the criteria for picking the team and manager of the year, and i have to say just my oppinion has a valid point.the top trophy is the league,of premier teams.won by coachford
aoh two years in a row and mossy linane cup killumney.village st michaels cup and ist division, glen do another double and its given to a team who won ist division league and a cup for the city teams in 1st 2nd and 3rd divisions
to me its a joke ,any other people feel the same

As far as I know you can't win team of the year if you haven't won a team of the month. And is up to clubs to nominate themselves for team of month. A lot of cup finals are held in same month so must be tough to pick a team in a cup final month . So you have 7/8 teams of the month awards . So team of year picked from them not sure is their a rating system ie prem league rated higher I'm not privy to that info.

I agree the best trophy in cork aul is the premier....as far I know you have to win team of the month to be nominated for team of the year.....i cant remember coachford winning team of the month despite their fantastic run in winning all their remaining games to clinch the title....an unlikely sceniario would be never winning team of the month but winning fai junior cup and not getting team of the year would be bizarre

Backpass I never gave out about Glenthorn. Just the Auls process. Glenthorn are a fine side. I posted earlier in the year about them also in a positive way. Just saying I wasn't surprised!! And some people work nites kid! I believe Killumney are a fine side and Coachford won the premier which is a great feat as there were 4 very strong teams in it!

Didn't Blackstone only get up Premier A a few years ago as they were offered it by the AUL because someone folded or pulled out?? Could be wrong on this now.

If that's the case no way should they still be Premier A 2 years in a row a team folded and they stayed up because of it.
