DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Holy crap....that rain is really belting down in Clontarf. Luckily it's a lovely day in Letterkenny. They should move the game here.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
It's sunny in Ballsbridge. Had a small shower there in the last 20 min but nothing major.
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
What a game. What a team.
Listening to the updates across the evening. Sounded likea Whopper. Hoping I can get up to Clontarf on Sunday.
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Ireland on the brink - in response to the home side's 229, Pakistan are 173/7, with six overs left.
198/3 now.
Dockerell finished bowling now.
24 balls left

Come on TRENT!!!
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Disappointing result in the end but seriously it's an absolute joy as a cricket fan in this country to see the quality of those games and the size of those crowds.
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Remember Shane Warne's famous delivery to Mike Gatting in 1993?
There's a feature on it on BBC's website. I'll never forget the look on Gatting's face!
Anyway, the radio commentary is priceless:

That was indeed a classic. Possibly "the best ball of all time"...
Interesting documentary on Irish cricket on Setanta on 18th June:
http://www.irishtimes.com/sport/othe...ory-1.1427250#
It was repeated this evening. Brilliant documentary. Got me all emotional looking back at the Pakistan and England WC games.
Definitely worth watching for cricket and non-cricket fans alike.
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
Thank the Gods, no cheating Frenchmen or gormless Swedes were, er, to hand.

What a second day at Trent Bridge.
Anyone there on Tuesday...
Nice surprise to see Ireland v England in a one day cricket event.
Ireland doing okay so far, England losing wickets a plenty in the chase for 270 runs as Morgan has a nightmare gig so far.
This is Trent's last Irish appearance?
