Charlie corrected me on a salient point, I was referring to a reported �7m loss, not a 7m debt as such.

The new club IS spending big money on players but this is a calculated risk against the potential financial calamity of not winning successive promotions.

I think they are expected to win every league on the way by 30 points, therefore they must spend a fortune to ensure that happens.
