Think few suspensions, injuries and maybe gaa commitments may weaken town for friday night but it would be great to see them complete domestic treble. Also i see Wexford youths won the Fai youths cup at the weekend a side who town could have beaten earlier in the competion so this is a superb town youths team. With regards them all progressing to the junior team, anyone involved in a club will tell you that history states that any given youth team will generally only provide 2 or 3 max to a junior side, sad but this is fact. it would be great if there was progression for this team to keep the group together. i see in cork, fermoy entered a second junior team where all the players were under 23 to stop the amount of young lads packing in the game in the town after youths level and it was a success. Cork City Fc u19s this year completed the national elite league and cup double and the club have now decided to try and enter a new team into the munster senior league to keep the group together. Its basically clubs thinking outside the box and it should be encouraged, there is no point developing players from say 7-18 years and then watch the young lads pack in the game.
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!

Yes I think Town youths will look back at this season with a lot of regret. I think they left a Munster Youth Cup go as well, but thats cup football. It would be nice to think that Town could hold to these youth players

4-1 town win. towns midfield of 2 faheys, kennedy and henry all tipperary minor footballers is different class and not many sides could contain those lads. Congratulations to town on a great season. 3 trophies in the bag

Boywonder you would want to start taking reading lessons, my point was Town were surely a better side that Cahir even though Cahir got to a Munster Semi and not an FAI so i was asking a question how Town didnt advance to the latter stages of the competitions. I am not involved in any of the clubs so how you make me out to be "bitter" is quite funny! Stick to you own forums in Limerick and do not be annoying us down here!

Firstly I was delighted boro won MJ because I backed them, and secondly Pike knocked them out of FAI and Lawson Cup and beat them to the league,so why would I be bitter??

pike are best junior club in country. best players, best manager, best facilities and best fans. all teams in tsdl are terrible and will never compete with or match the standards of pike rovers. Does this statement save the froum going round in circles for a few days and we can get back to talking bout tsdl matters.

Any word out there on any signings for town, celtic or saints?? or is it abit early for any of that yet
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!

    Transfers

Sean O'Hara, Michael Cody,Alan Cody and David Grincell are all signing for Celtic. They are going from strength to strength. Going to be hard to keep the squad happy but serious signings none the less. Heard nothing from Town, if they could get a few of the youths to play junior they will be ok. Celtic have taken over though.

Celtic will have serious fire power if the sign o hara, alan coady and grincell. 3 top strikers.maybe one thing they lacked last season was an out and out finisher, will definatly have one of those if they sign any of those 3 players. Michael coady is probably best left full at junior level in the country, did he play much with carrick this year sine finishing up with waterford?

if all those players sign for celtic you will see some of celtics current squad heading to clonmel town.
