We had a challenge against Innishvilla on Sat last and i must say they are a very good outfit. All comfortable on the ball and played some lovely football. Ended 2-2 and in difficult conditions it was a very good game. Barely even noticed that the ref was there. Our pitch held up well. Serious backlog now with all the cancelled games at the weekend.

loyalty in football where is it gone.rang my buddy to see how they got on this morning and was told they beat macroom 3 nill.but that wasnt the end of the story ,having 12 points out of 15 and in the quarter final of aoh cup he was told by the club that they wanted their manager from last year to get back involved in the team again.this was the guy who left to go to australia earlier in the season and because it didnt work was back again .working off a panel of seventeen or eighteen its very hard to keep everyone happy and the few clique members that every club has sought to have their old manager back, when the situation was discussed with the current manager who was shocked by this ,he was left with no choice but to resign ,.a absolute disgraceful way to treat a person with 2 thirds of the season gone .what ever about next year it was a terrible thing to do to someone with the team doing so well.remember it was killumney who sought him in the first place and the least mick sheehan and the committee should have done was stick by him till end of season.am i glad im out of all this crap.

When I first heard he took over, I thought he was on a hiding to nothing, filling his predecessors boots. He delivered big time - shocking to be treated like that. I hope Kilumney are not backing the clique who are openly talking about returning to Ballincollig seniors. HILL - you know where we are on Tuesdays & Thursdays if you need to get out of the house!!

How much is looking good worth..................about 9/2 if yesterday's events are anything to go by. I saw Blackstone at 9/2 away to Leeds, but had only enough for my haircut and vowed to go back down......which of course I didnt!! Damn my dashing good looks!!!!

If that is true that's 1 of the most disgraceful things I've seen in a long time. Baffaling.

Thats some carry on down in Killumney in fairness. Very disrespectful to the current manager even though I'd say they didn't plan for it to turn out like it did. I caught the second half of leeside and knockavilla on Saturday, not sure how first half went but leeside should have had six or seven goals in the second half alone. Knockavilla won it in injury time with their first shot on goal in the second half. I thought things had gone really pearshaped down in leeside but to be fair yesterday they still looked a good side

From what i have heard, Old coach was brought back in to help out with training etc, not to take over. Most managers would be delighted to have somebody helping them and i dont see why this would mean manager "had to resign".

if they didnt plan it ,then they have a funny way of showing it,he was left with no choice the clique which included the captain wanted last years manager back involved, this club has lost a lot of respect from people over this mr sheehan included.

a duck yee were missing holden and and had shane o neill playing before he went ,beaten by a better team at the end of the day, could have been the begining of the end though ,the skipper was dropped that day and didnt take it well ,with a game plan that worked to beat the holders.the whole thing has left a very sour taste especially the players he brought out there skilly included ,they are tied in there now with the window closed.

nedge there was no problem at all with the old manager doing the training .,but at the end of the day the club wanted him involved in team selection as well and you cant serve two masters in fairness ,i dont think any manager would put up with that.

To clarify nedge, the "old" manager hasnt taken a training session yet! That was just a guise to get back involved but when due to appear was unavailable sorting out work etc. Stuff going on in the background setting todays events up for some time now! Looks like it didnt matter who was in the hot seat, once the previous manager arrived back from his travels he was getting back in - has a few influential buddies in the squad who didnt take kindly to being left out. "Used" is a word to describe it!
