everyone who signs for pike does so because they want to, no one puts a gun to there head to sign a form. Also no matter how good the player is i doubt pike would want him if he kept rejecting there approaches. I assume the lad has a mind of his own

    Carrick United v Gweedore Celtic
    Sunday KO 12pm

Should be a decent game, with Gweedore currently in good form at the top of their Premier Division and scoring heavily 38 goals in 10 games. Its a long trip for them and they are staying overnight, which puts a huge cost on any junior club as Carrick and many others can testify over the years. The winners will play away to Ballymote or Claremorris in the next round. Which will be one heck of a spin for us but not so much from Gweedore. Loooking forward to this and hopefully we get decent Januarary weather.

They play cork aul, league tables wont do you any favours though pal cause kinsale havent played a league game yet this season. They have been caught up in domestic cup ties and fai games all season. Physical direct side who are present premier league champions in cork aul. Have one ex ameteur international in Derek Mccarthy top player .

I see them play in the last round and they should have been beaten by a team from the 3rd tier in limerick, they werent up to much that day, maybe they had an off day,id imagine they'll have to up their game 100% to beat kilbarrack, imo.

I suppose I would have to say that they have been the top Junior side in Cork for pretty much 10 years and have on more than one occasion had their obituary written but they keep coming back strong. I would still see a top Dublin side as favourites as the Cork Junior sides are constantly a notch below national level as the top players will always drift to the MSL sides - however Kinsale do have the advantage of not being a city team so fewer players get poached by MSL and they seem to have a squad of great loyalty - Derek Mc as a terrific example.

Castlebar 4/1 and dingle Bay 5/2 have to over priced at home? not saying either or both will win but they are very generous odds, €10 double pays €175

Castlebar very much over priced for a decent home team.
Longshanks how do you reckon Claremorris v Ballymote will go??
