Your FF name suggestions

So, it's emerged that the party's think-in is considering a name change and logo rebranding - with the current Eighties revival, I think the "People's Democratic Republican Party" would go down a storm.

The Progressive, Going Forward, Not Dwelling On the Past Party
Strapline: Although if you do insist on dwelling on the past you'll find that everything we did was right. Although of course mistakes were made. But only in a general way. Nothing specific. Sure look at what them current hoors are doing!

We killed the PDs and the Greens, that's got to be worth something
Jedward (In case it becomes possible to vote in elections by phone.)
Super Ninja Manchester United Supporters
Save the Local Hospital we can't really afford totally not because of us
The Parish Pump Party
Fianna.Fail (A rebranding for the 21st century)
The Dustin The Turkey Party (after recent polls had Dustin polling multiples of the local FF vote)
Independents (Hey, it works for so many of their former members)
The Socialist Party (Strangely, jabs at Bertie seem old-fashioned now)

This will take a couple of decades but here's how I see their future possibly panning out:

Official Fianna Fail

Then Fianna Fail The Workers Party

Then just The Workers Party

Then New Agenda

Then Democratic Left

Then finally The Labour Party.

It's a proven route up the greasy pole so tis.

I assume that's directed at me?? Era, I'm not too bothered. I'm not a FF supporter. I have no allegiance to any political party and the name or potential re-naming of a party wouldn't sway my vote either way. I'd need something more substantive. The head honchos in FF need to realise that until all members connected to their "former glories" are gone and replaced by younger, "cleaner", candidates then a re-branding is a waste of time.
