Check out Blarneys pitch. Perfect condition probably the reason Ireland U-16s played there last week and the 1st division playoff is on there friday week.

ringmahon, ur 1 to talk bout leeds not being a great team,, at least they have given themselves a chance.. given ringmahon recent results in the premier division in the last few years i think ye would struggle even more.. is it3 or 4 years ye went up only to go straight back down.. i think u should be saying well done to leeds and fermoy for given themselves a chance.. all u are on bout the last few weeks is cors were a disgrace and all that bull for walking of..if they gave ye a rematch i suspect the 4-2 result to be the same as they are a far superior side to ye... if ye didnt bottle it ye might be going to the premier but as usual ye wud be going straight back down next year

Does any team want to win this league?.. i hope the 'hall' take it because they are the only team in the league who consistently try and play ball. i know you can say that Rockmount are always in contention at the business end of the season, but man they are hard to watch.. I have not seen much of the avondale, but going by the condition of there pitch they cant be much better. its been a very entertaining season for the neutral its a pity its coming to an end.

I totally agree. Smashing surface but only one team play on it and if there is a drop of rain due for the Lee Valley area Blarney call the game off. The record shows.

since they only play a game there if the moisture content in the air is in the exact specific region, and the moon is alined with jupiter!! ( you might of guessed i had a few futile spins to blarney this year:-) ) in fairness best pitch in the league next year will be college cors first pitch, beautiful surface, more so because they will play all their home games on the 2nd pitch!! mounts pitch has got better, where as hall's and dale's is still pretty poor!! doesn't seem to be affecting hem though!! any one seen midletons pitch lately?? shocking compared to what it used to be!!

Its still quite good.. Id have Mayfield and Blarneys pitch in the top two pitches in the league.

Corinthians pitch is very good too but im just comparing premier legaue pitches as i haven't seen much of corinthians pitch this year but will thankfully next year.

Blarneys and corinthians 1st pitch are by far the best in the league
credit where credits due to there groundsman
they still have the same games played on them every year as everyone else
they both look a joy to play on even at this late stage of the season

ya blarney pitch is a top class pitch, there floodlights help them out for the pitch, they can call off as many games as they like and never have a back log of games come the end of the season, cos with the floodlights lights they can play as many midweek games as they want in the winter, not many teams can do that, hopefully rockmount and midleton pitches can benefit from the floodlights as well

Everton 0 Rockmount 1. Monty. Penalty. Hard fought game. Ref had 2 major decisions to make and got both of them right. Definite penalty and definite sending off. What was Chris Byrne thinking going over the ball in the corner with 25 to go and Everton still in game. Game on now lads.

Grant it the intermediate cup final is on this Sunday but I can think of at least 2 refs who are not involved on Sunday who would be more than capable of handling the Hall/Mount game. Does not put too much faith in the MSL panel of refs. Still Alan is the top ref in the country so I dont expect much after debate. And if thats not the kiss of death !!!!

Too late, did you see the fallout from todays Sligo-Derry game? 1 superstar ref, 2 penalties, 3 goals and 4 sending offs
    Good preparation.

But to be fair he is one of the best refs in the country.
Doesn't say much for the current MSL panel or the MSLs faith in them.

welcome to the forum.straight in for a fight i see.i take it you must be a leeds supporter.with this forum people can say what they feel so that was my honest opinion.i never said that ringmahon would or would not struggle.we werent good enough all the other times and if we did go up we would need more players to bolster squad.so i dont think its nothing about bottle.if you look back at other posts im not the only person that said leeds would struggle.if you wanna start off a slagging match your in the wrong place

thats true but how many games has alan refed this year in msl.surely this is the biggest kick up the backside to all the other referees.taught he was just concetrating on the league of ireland games and his internationals

Money talks, i'm sure he is not doing the match on the cheap

Good decision from the MSL infairness cause at least he will ref any incident on the incident alone and not on a players reputation.
