Big games for ye too so Ola. Would like to see ye get two good results there.
Leeds Pk, very rare i know for us to agree on somethingbut yes it was crazy having an away game in Macroom during the week when it would suit to have it at the weekend rather than playing Pearse. But thats the AUL for ya bud, just have to get on with it now which is a shame because ye were still in there with a shout. Very frustrating.
likewise littleman!!
delighted, just got news there that our c team got team of the month for march 5 wins out of 5 and 3 against higher opposition in cups so i say thats what swung it our way, glad the aul recoginise all teams no matter what division they in

In fairness Bluey your point is a good one.Shouldnt be the bigger sides that hog all the awards.

i see pike thrown out of fai, what does that mean in munster, are they thrown out of that aswell. knew we should of never played them when there was objections in against them, aul told us we had 2 play it or been thrown out of competition. thats some backing from your league isnt it. i know i was giving them credit 20min ago!!!!!! ha ha
I presume it just means someone has just got the easiest free pass to the Fai Junior cup final in history.Mjc will follow suit.
Their's only one Dinny Pop's.
thought as much, brilliant. feel sorry for springfield aswell
An we thought the Aul was run by muppets, the Mfa an the Fai have bring it to another level all together.

Macroom A 4 Leeds 3
Just took the match report straight off our website, my report probably wouldnt be as detailed!!
Great result for us! What does LeedsPk make of the report!
In a fantastic entertaining match, Macroom A remain in firm control of their pursuit of the Premier A title after an excellent victory over a quality Leeds side at Murray's pitch Macroom.
It should have been more comfortable for Macroom, who flew out of the blocks. They took the lead in the sixth minute when one of Leeds own men scored an own goal, trying to clear the danger that Martin Corcoran and Keith Holden were creating. Macroom doubled their lead in the 24th minute, when an excellent Darragh Deasy cross was finished by Holden from close range. Macroom were dominating now.Macroom got their third soon after, when another Deasy cross from a corner was powered home by Corcoran, to give Macroom a three goal lead.
It was always going to happen that Leeds would come out firing after the restart, but Macroom would be disappointed how they let Leeds back into the game. Leeds frontman Gary Nolan was a serious threat, and he weaved his way through a body of defenders to get into a shooting position on 49. He then cracked home an excellent 20 yarder to give Leeds hope. They were now in the acendancy in terms of posession, and they reduced the deficit to the minimum after 64 minutes, again it was Nolan who was on hand to finish from close range. Macroom upped their game again after this, and went 4-2 up on 73. It was a fantastic counter attacking move, when O'Riordan took the ball out of defence, and played a superb cutting pass to Holden who's first touch brought it perfectly down, beat the last defender before coolly finishing. Holden was in again on 78, after a superb pass from Anthony O Donoughue, but his lobbed effort was just over. Leeds got their third on 80, when midfielder Shane Hurley did well to slot home following a goalmouth scramble. Macroom's defence held firm for a nail biting last ten minutes to record an important victory.
Well Owl maybe we can get along after all, haha!!! big 4 days for yerselves coming up. 2 wins and ye are well on yer way to promotion.
I have to say Mr V that the report is spot on. I had a look a the website as well and have to say its impressive. I thought yer no 10 caused us feirce problems, he is a fine player. Saying that i thought once we got goin we caused alot of problems ourselves with Gary gettin a great 1st goal for us. As for 'flew out of the blocks' well thats a different argument altogether as iv moaned about that already, ha. Did ye have a midweek trip to the city yet??? I say ye would find it hard to fly out of the blocks if ye did. But all in the past, best of luck now with the rest of it!!!
Clashduv Road Saturday, anybody got directions on how to get out of that hole in the centre of the pitch?? :-)
My left hamstring is still there so if you do find a way out would you mind passing it on if you see it...
In this weather when pitches firm up it must be up there with one of the worst pitches - nothing against Pearse as they normally are a good football side but I really detest that pitch...
”That should be NO problem for the defence – OH NOOOO!!”

cheers LeedsPk the site is a credit to the lads running it! No midweek trips anywhere yet to be honest that was our first midweek game! AOH semi-final first leg now at the weekend and the weekend after so no midweek fixture then either!! Anyone know what the story with goals is? Do away goals count or not??
Any info on Knockavilla?? I Know we played them last year and had some great contests but have they any new players etc!!
Big game between Ballyvolane and Kanturk in PremA over the weekend!!
Bohs 5 - 0 Rylane .....great team performance by us tonight from the start to the finish we kept going.Led 2 nil at the break and when Rylane pushed in the last 25 mins we caught them 3 times on the break and ran out easy enough winners in the end
So its joint top of the table with 3 games in hand on Donoughmore and hopefully we stay there.
Another tricky tie saturday when we face Park down in there place ..........
WE ARE GOING UP I SAID WE ARE GOING UP!!!!! BOHS CHAMPIONS 1A 09/10
Huge game this weekend Mr. V,
As far as I'm aware the away goals rule will come into play, Probably the same rules as the County Cup.
On Knockavilla , we played them twice this season and we beat them 4 nil at home and they beat us 3 nil in their place more recently on Paddy's Day. They are after changing things around there big time ( possibly even new management) since Mid season. But they are well beatable. I think Keith up front will give their defence a horrid time. As you know he chases everything and can score from litterally anywhere. They are dangerous with free kicks so be disciplined around that 18 yard box.
On the home and away fixture, its hard to know how to approach the games, But I'm sure Master Murray will have a game plan.
At the moment ye seem to be getting everything right, ( a bit like when we did the double ) so best of luck Sunday.
Should be a class game, So might see you there Mr. V![]()

WE ARE GOING UP I SAID WE ARE GOING UP!!!!! BOHS CHAMPIONS 1A 09/10
Result from A.U.L. 2A.
Killowen 0 Millstreet 2.
It was 0-0 at half time although both sides had decent chances to open the scoring in the 1st half. Millstreet hit the woodwork and had a few goalbound shots charged down. We were happy enough going in at the break on level terms as we were missing our regular keeper and 2 midfielders. Millstreet really went for it in the 2nd half and scored their opener within 20 minutes, and had us on the backfoot for long periods. But we kept battling, our centre half hit the crossbar with a great volley and we put in a few dangerous crosses and corners, but couldn't register a goal. Millstreet wrapped it up with a second goal with around 15 to go.
This division will go right down to the wire as Springfield, Waterloo and Millstreet are matching each others results.

Good result Scaffa, did this game kick off on time? We were warming up for our game v Millstreet when a referee arrived and handed the match card to our manager and requested his match fee. We were a bit suprised as it wasn't the referee listed on the fixture list but we just presumed it was a change of official. However, when we looked at the card the fixture listed was Boh's v Rylane at The Fairfield. Right on cue the correct official arrived and then the penny dropped with the 1st referee. He must have presumed Boh's were still playing out in Killowen.

2 good results for ye this week scaffa.... We are the lower end of the
table and apart from Rylane looking likely to go down, it is between six other teams to join them. So it will be very interesting for the remainder of the season........... I still fancy ye to win it bud.![]()
