I have to assume there's some issue with 90mins for Robbie....going by his play when he is on, he has to start. Maybe we'll see him next week.
Even if Rob had to come off after an hour he would do more then some of them out there.

Scully needs to get things together or questions should be asked.

    JT once again.

Decent performance it has to be said, but the same 3/4 players who are not up to it let us down again. Cant really comment on the peno as I was well away from it, ref didnt give it but linesman did. Now to be fair, the ref was ok tonight, some poor calls but they went both ways (dont mind that) but the linesman were shockingly bad.

    Deserved a draw.

I dont think theres any more Pat Scully can do with the squad he has. A change of manager would make no difference. Better players are needed at the club, not Limerick Junior players or squad players from other average teams but players who are just back from playing in England and maybe loan players from top division teams who are premier standard. Unfortunately its very hard to entice these types of players to Limerick FC and also there is the issue of money. At the moment the money is being put into other areas and Scully has to work with the squad he has. There is no question the club has made improvements over the last year or two but people cant keep expecting instant success. Its not a cleche, its very much the way the club is at the moment. We arent as good as those other top four teams you've mentioned yet and we wont be untill the money can be pumped into the squad where we will need to sign at least 5 top players.

Who put that squad together not Scully?
He could have got better players and he had the money to do it the budget went up from last year.
Instant success 15 years in 1st division whats so instant about that?

If you think about it lads, Waterford weren't anything spectacular last night, so its really up to us. For most the first half they just booted the ball up the field, when they started passing it started to work for them - And thus we scored, so its more of that, that we need, but as was pointed out on the bus, Waterford always had a free man. And if you look at Deedy, he had to cover two of 'em like.

He isnt in the job 15 years though is he? Instant success is obviously a reference to what he's going to achieve! He inherited a squad and made changes to it as best he could when there was no money at the club and like i said before the money thats there now isnt been put into the squad...very little of it is, thats why he has to fish players from the junior league.

Awful excuse and as i said his budget went up the money he had to spend on a squad went up from last year thats a fact the money was there he just didnt get the right people simple. He inherited a squad? He took over after 4 games of last year after June it was his squad. His squad are not good enough and thats no-one but his fault.

Limerick didn't pay for the seats LDMC did.

Limerick were Waterford's equal last night, it could just as easily have been Limerick getting a late penalty - there were two occasions when a Limerick player had a shot through a crowd of players that could have gone straight in / deflected in / been handled. Waterford weren't as good as they were against Derry though. The question for Limerick is whether they have another level

Its not excuses, i just think its easy for you to blame him without being aware of all the facts. He did take over a team and got rid of players like Paul Dannaher etc. who isnt even good enough for Mervue(with no disrespect to them) and brought in what he could at the time. Can you please tell me, what sort of money you think is available to him that he is spending so badly and do you think it is easy to get players to play for us seen as we havent much to boast about at the club? You just seem to be repeating yourself about the budget and dont even offer a suggesting as to what exactly you would like to be seen done with it. There are plenty of other overheads in the club and there will need to be money available for a move into our own stadium if that goes ahead, and there is the running of the Sean Choill facility in Corbally which we are running and it wasnt so long ago money was made available to built out in Knocklasheen. There isnt that bottomless pit of money or a big 'BUDGET' like your suggesting. Our finances have improved but not enough for a revamp of the current squad, that will take a while.

You talk of facts but yet you get the 1st thing you say wrong Mervue wanted to keep Paul but couldn't afford to. I know around what figure the budget s and u know players we turned away that wanted to lay for us. Its well known that the playing budget went up this year the club said it themselves at the start of the year so what more proof do you want? You talk as if im making it up when id say i know way more of whats going on in the club then you do i even tipped the club off to sign 1 of the players that hey did bring in theres a FACT.

I dint get anything iv said wrong...I said he wasnt good enough for Mervue...theres players we'll keep in the team that aren't good enough for us as well but we still sign them back. What i am trying to say to you is that the amount of money available isnt enough to get a load of better players and its not only that, its not a very attractive club to play for at the moment compared to others. You must be proud of your scouting skills but thats not what im debating here so no need to take this personally. Pat Scully is obviosly doing the best possible with the money etc allocated to him so im simply saying take a moment to look at the whole picture. Its not a game of Championship Manager where you can just pick whatever player you want to play for you. I think we should drop this conversation anyway, I get where your coming from, I hope you can also accept my points.

I do accept your points but all i'm saying is our bench last night was Boyle Roche Cahill Kelliher McGuiness there are Junior players around better then some of them. I don't expect massive big name signings or anything like that but at least have people as back up that are up to LOI level.
