all the posts about chalky have been deleted, not one of them were abusive or out of order, clearly someone was rattled when his relationship with lewis in terms of fixtures and the general tsdl was mentioned, over the last year clonmel town have taken abuse....mckeever....blossom....majorly muiris walsh, peake villa manager has taken abuse, barry ryan has taken stick, noel byrne has taken stick, cashel town had a bust of and glenn docherty took stick, however the moment james walsh is mentioned posts are deleted,it was dangerous territory as he openly speaks about his control of fixtures and the general running of our league, why not allow people to air their views, isnt that what this forum is for???

The clue is in the last line of the first post in the rubbished thread, the other posts there are related to or quote the first post.

Would you like it if someone named you here and made out you were corrupt?

if the likes of maxwell and hooper would stop arguing with each other and grow up we could actually get somewhere and this is an issue in relation to fixtures and favours a lot of people are not happy about

ok point taken but corrupt is mild in terms of some of the abuse that goes on,all the other clubs have the exact same opinion of the behaviour of tommy lewis and james walsh so for once instead of all bickering with each other lets at least let them both know that we are sick and tired of it and if james thinks this is out of line then at least have the inteligence to not bragg about it,tommy lewis stuck his head around dressing room door last season and told paul breen not to worry about a suspension for an upcoming game....it would be looked after, all the players had a laugh, but the rest of us dont find it as funny

this has been goin on for years, but i remember a player in my club at the time ,a few years back, getting 5 years for kicking someone on the ground , yet the very same day paul scully did the same thing to a saints player, only got a token suspension which was held up so he could play for the irish juniors in isle of man !!!!

in terms of referees and getting away with murder town are definitely just as bad,it should not be allowed and surely the other clubs can come up with some sort of idea to get a fair crack from the league, surely for a start chalky needs to have no power over fixtures,do you know he rings tommy lewis at the start of each season and goes through his diary to arrange free weekends for when he is unavailable and this is a direct quote from the man himself

well if that is true, it is scandalous. How can other clubs come up with anything when town and saints always have the final say. It is impossible to get a fair deal, I cant see it changing and that is why all other clubs in the league love to see the big 2 beaten. Unfortunately not for football reasons

like i said its a direct quote from the man himself, its absolutely scandalous the influence he has, saints were suppose to play villa in the tipp cup a couple of weeks ago but both breens had a club football match so he called lewis and arranged a change of fixture, what hope have the rest of us,saints will play villa and celtic in the league at a suitable time, when maybe villa are on the back of a bad result or have some injuries or suspensions,we are all fighting a losing battle

That is wrong- Paul Scully never played for Ireland- and who did he "kick on the ground"

I don't believe for a second that town influence Tommy Lewis- where is the evidence- this is a load of ******** talk

Maybe, I doubt it, however there is a better of chance than that happening given Lewis is a Michaels man. I don't on the other hand believe Clonmel Town have any influence- who in Town would

Proof of this-just look at the amount of fixtures Town had at the end of last season- it was crazy- if they had any influence this wouldn't haven't happened- I am sorry but I am not having any of that

i dont believe town have an influence over the league, the fixtures lewis threw at them last season proved that, that would never have happened to saints,i believe town intimidate refs though, its wrong for lewis as a saints man to run the league,it needs to be a neutral

True- but I heard from sources inside Town that basically Muiris Walsh runs that club- he hired Mckeever- he then hired Martin Quinlivan- he got Noel Byrne etc. he has a club shop running in Town over the last month, which took in thousands
He also went to the TSDL AGM and tore strips of Lewis over the fixtures. As a result Lewis has become very friendly with him and asked him numerous times to join TSDL.
Be in no doubt- Muiris Walsh is a powerful man inside Clonmel Town and has influence in the TSDL. He has Lewis's ear. He is a powerful figure in Tipp soccer
I don't have a problem with this- we need people like him
