Jasus what a match 1-1 at half time, went 3-1 down and won 6-4 ah the drama. Destiny still in our own hands with one match to go.

Jeepers, it's set up for some last day in D2. It'd have been even better if Athletico had not thrown that game.... BOOOOOO.

    It'll be some last day:
    Finn Tigers vs. Dún Déalgan
    The Lilywhites vs. Centremids Seagulls
    Cobh Ramblers vs. Atlético Bray

Any of those five can still go up with us.

If the UCD manager is inactive, you can't lose...you'll probably be awarded a W/O as they now have two first teamers suspended and two are injured (mightn't be recovered in time).

Another sh!t result for us. My three forwards were awful, and got WAYYYY below skill ratings. Weijden will never hit another peno for us again - could swear I said that before though.

Congrats dfx, and all the promoted teams so far.

Anyone fancy posting the premier division results? I didn't get online last night and I can't access it in work.

Congrats to Dfx too, a well deserved title.

Firstly to congratulate Athletico gaining promotion and the Bridesmaids getting to the chapel again! Saturday in the Second looks a cracker - top six play each other, and all but Athletico playing to go up - Super Saturday there!

GAH. Typical ambition-free Sligo Rovers. We're level on points and both have a game to go. You'd think I was ten points clear. Look at the top of the table:
    --------------- Pd W D L F - A GD PTS
    1 Gates of Steel 17 12 4 1 42-17 25 40
    2 Sligo Rovers F.C. 17 13 1 3 39-18 21 40
    Games left:
Gates of Steel - Lilywhite Exiles
Great Northern Railway - Sligo Rovers F.C.

B*gger all between us - only four goals on GD. Sligo are pretty good away, GNR are in the bottom three at home in the division. Sligo could accumulate a lot of goals here and top us. But is Sligoman going to do the typical foot.ie league thing of deciding "Well, we can't win this, so we'll just get match experience in", and be satisfied with nothing.

It is my genuine belief (without the aid of VIP) that we were the third strongest team in the division at the beginning of the season. And we were definitely the weakest in the top flight both times, when we stayed up and when we were within a game of survival. It appears that there is a lot to be said for the sheer bull-headed persistent attempt to win every game.

Sligo Rovers really should have won something in this league by now; they have been good enough in the past and if nothing else been in the First long enough between the two spells - why not this season? It's not too late to believe in your team Sligoman - we could slip up and only draw. I believe that Sligo can win it if we drop the ball - so should you!
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

We're not in the bottom 3. We are currently lying in safely in midtable. For that I might just throw out a weak team

Tut tut Infadel - read what you highlit - bottom three at home - the games when your team plays in its home stadium and the other team is away. Ye're no pushovers, but statstically speak you've failed to do as well at home as all bar two of the other teams in the division.

And I might just put out a weak team too, just so that your defeat will have had next to no impact on the direction of the title, and I will have really lost it rather than you have given it! Two can play at this game

Can't see me getting any of that to be perfectly honest, form is poor and it'll probably be a case of trying to keep the score down.
