I reckon Cliftonville will bring a decent enough support. They tend to muster up a big support for the big games.
Top of each group plus the best runner up from all the groups but I can't remember how they determine that one.

Depends what day it ends up on. I would say about 150/200 tops.
That's not bad!
If Bray take Cork's place then we should qualify from this group no problem, what would Cliftonville be like compared to our current squad ?

The draw for the 2009/10 competition took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Football Association of Ireland headquarters in Abbotstown.
Linfield and Derry have met in the group stages of the competition in each of the last three seasons, and will renew rivalry once again after this year’s competition gets under way next month.
St Patrick’s Athletic complete Group Three in the cross-border tournament, with Saints and Derry kicking off the section at Richmond Park on the weekend of August 28/29.
League of Ireland champions Bohemians and Irish League side Coleraine, two of the three first-time participants in the Setanta Cup this year, have been paired in the same three-team group.
Group Two also includes Glentoran, meaning the champions of either side of the border will face off in the group stages.
Group One, meanwhile, sees the other Setanta Cup debutants Sligo Rovers paired with Cliftonville and Cork City, although Cork’s participation is in grave doubt given the unpaid tax liabilities which could see the club plunge out of existence on Friday.
Title sponsors Setanta have also had their fair share of financial troubles this year, with the company’s UK parent going to the wall last month.
Speaking at the launch, Milo Corcoran, chairman of the Setanta Sports Cup Organising Committee, said: “It has been a pleasure to watch this competition grow since its debut season in 2005. On behalf of the FAI, IFA and the clubs, I would like to thank Setanta Sports for their ongoing commitment to the competition, despite what has been a challenging few months for their own company. Setanta Sports have been excellent partners for us and I am delighted to continue that partnership.
“This season sees nine clubs compete in the competition, making it the biggest ever Setanta Sports Cup. The introduction of a ninth club facilitates our move to spreading the clubs into three groups of three.
“Kicking off in August, the Setanta Sports Cup will run until May of next year. The introduction of semi-finals played over two legs will be welcomed by clubs and fans alike, while the scheduling of matches at the weekend for the first time is also a welcome addition.
“We believe that these changes to the format of the competition will improve what was already a winning recipe.”
Setanta Sports Cup 2009/10:

Group Two: Bohemians, Glentoran, Coleraine
Group Three: Linfield, Derry City, St Patrick’s Athletic

A extra revenue stream is a revenue stream....ask cork....second thoughts maybe not?
Looking forward to the trip north.
Does Cliftonville have a pub like DC's?
DC's pub is unbelieveable, like a palace of footballing pubs.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
That will be Cork 8 times this year. Joy.![]()
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!
Although that will mean a final away day of the season in Cork I think![]()
LOL thats right.
Mr & Mrs McSharry used to live in the ground aswell, (they had a vicious little dog too.)
in a house that was located beside the old souvenir shop.
There is a small gold plaque and a tree commerating this on the right hand side as you enter the ground just beyond the turnstiles.
they were certainly different times
