Ventre missed the dundalk game only, he played against Bray on Tuesday. team news here: http://www.sligorovers.com/content/view/736/1/
I think the general view seems to be that we'll be lucky to take a point from this. Would be delighted with that to be honest. Hopefully we'll have a decent travelling support. No excuses this weekend for a trip up the road! Any thoughts on the starting eleven? Is Ventre out through suspension?

Coleman for Ireland
Hopefully Morrison will put on a good performance to show his old employers what they are missing!!
It'll take a herculean effort for us to get a point from this. We can't afford any slip-ups at the back or Derry will be in. Unfortunately, our defence is still a bit shoddy, but we were only punished once against Bray.
I'd be delighted with a score draw.
A lot more optimism in here than in the betting thread anyway![]()
This one lies in favour of Derry, but if we push on from teusdays win and push forward the way we did in the second half, we could get atleast 1 goal out of it and if we also play the way we did against them last season we should get something out of it.

i hate going to the brandywell,
its the one ground in the country i hate.
that a**hole on the P.A. gives me nightmares.
"and the scorer for derry city is mark farrrrreeeennnn"
were really up against it tomorrow with almeda still out.
im usually optimistic but cant see us keepin a clean sheet.
see u all in the brandywell![]()
Ya, I'd be delighted to take a point out of this game aswell, always a tough place to go to especially with Almeida still out and the defence looking a bit shaky. Can see us conceding so I'll be optimistic and go for a 1-1 draw!
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.
Muhammad Ali
Roy Keane is still a pri*k!
The one thing we can do again is to let the Rovers players we are there and in full support for them for the 90 minutes. Come on the Reds.
No pressure on us for this game, should be able to put in a performance after the win v Bray and hopefully we will have a decent number cheering the boys on.
I just see us sneaking a result...
cant see us winning, its a sunny day though...don't Rovers always play well on a sunny day?![]()
It's raining now.![]()
Are you guys happy with boy Owen since he joined?
