So this weekend - its the quarter final between St Peter's and Lisselton Rovers (who lost me big money last weekend but 7 out of 8 was still good but didn't take home the bacon) and the winners of this play Clonmel Town in semi final

    who's going to win?

i predict St Peter's but in a very close game - 2-1 after extra time

I agree i think it will be very close but im shading a peters win 2 1 cause i think the quality of peters front 3 or 4 will shade it..lookin forward to it...

well maybe not a lof of good keepers but a few decent ones around that are better than what the view have at the moment.

bennis, smackers (pike),glash(boro)(another young lad up at boro was very impressive at start of the season),russell(regional),lewis o' regan(wembley),clune (aisling) hickey(balla)stewart (carew) granville had a good keeper mcmahon not sure if hes up there now tho.

all better than whats up at the view at the moment.

alot of predictions being made about lisselton and st peters game, but to be honest i doubt anyone has seen these 2 teams play this season so be hard for people to make a logical prediction.but i would like to hear a prediction from someone who has seen these 2 teams this season.

    Iorras v Ballymun

How good are Ballymun? Iorras have got this far the hard way, 2 away games in the last 2 rounds along with beating Pike and Dublin Bus at home? Still people say they have a very ordinary side, they must be doing something right? they couldn't be getting lucky every round. Could they not go on now and lift the trophy?

i think there is a lot of people on this site being very disrespectful to Iorras, why are people writing them off, they have already beaten Pike Rvs,who as much as it hurts me to say it are the best team in Limerick this season, beat a more fancied Kinsale away on an artificial surface(i think) and beat Fairview sunday at the Fairgreen, who were odds on to win...lets give credit where credit is due,I personally hope they get to the final, maybe then they will get the respect they deserve

I've only seen erris play once, against Fairview, and Fairview were the better side, better footballers. the keeper gave away a silly goal and Fairview totally dominated the second half. personally from watching Erris on Sunday they were very average. They won't win the FAI playing like that. As for Kinsale, i heard they weren't great at all, and Pike's discipline let them down up in Belmullet

Erris have got what you cannot Coach, and that is a nev er say die attitude.I hope they dont take this as disrespectful but they dont have any star players as such, but have a tremendous will to win and work very hard for each other, they will give every ounce of effort for 90 mins. They also have a good few of thier team that won the u-18 Junior cup a few yaers ago. They have a blend of youth and experience. As a Mayo man I really would like to see them do well and hopefully go all the way.

ya you're right there in fairness. the erris lads wanted it more on sunday. they are a very physical side, not dirty, just love to get stuck in and nothing wrong with it. whether that will be enough to win them the trophy will be down to a bit of luck, it's gonna be very tough for them. the big players for fairview didn't perform on sunday, apart from Chucka, he rarely has a bad game anyway

I haven't personally but I know a man who has and they are saying Peters... but only if they can stop Lisselton scoring becasue I don't care who they were playing to score 11 goals in the last 32 and 16 of the FAI cup is some doin. A lot at stake obviously so nerves may play a part and again I would say Peters have some 'big' players, I don't mean physically, i mean experienced. Looking foward to it.

Just shows how much effort theyve put in over the winter and they seem to be getting better with every game. as a lot of people have said, they may not be superstars, but theyve definitly deserved their semi-final spot, and i can see them improving from the q-final.

people are forgetting their u-18 team wom the fai cup onlya few years back!!
