    Pre-season games confirmed(updated)

Friday, 13 February 2009 Sligo Rovers are happy to announce their pre-season programme, with the kick-off to the new League of Ireland season only three weeks away. Paul Cook's side will begin by facing Longford Town on Tuesday in Ballinasloe.
Rovers will host Sean Connor's Dundalk on Saturday, 21 February in The Showgrounds. The kick-off time will be confirmed in the coming days.
Stephen Parkhouse will have the chance to come up against him former club when Finn Harps visit Sligo six days later. The Bit o'Red play Harps on Friday, 27 February.
The season begins the following week.

    By Rory Houston.

A bit off topic but, still no mention of Xano on the Rovers site, hopefully on Teusday he'll get his chance against Longford.

Apparently he's only on trial though, so wouldn't he still get to play if Cook picks him against Longford ?

Excuse me if I'm missing something, but is he a trialist? Any good? Never heard of him.

Rovers played Foxford and Straide United in Foxford today. Mainly A team played though, just Ciaran Kelly, Steve Feeney, Cretaro and McT from the first team. Finished 1-1 with McT getting the Rovers goal.
