We tried, but frankly, your house just hasn't the capacity of Dalymount.

Oh well, at least Bohs recently passed Sligo out in the race for LoI club third closest to bankruptcy.
You can't spell failure without FAI

They do, they have been outstanding since all this crap started months ago. They won the Setanta cup on 30% of their wages, they attended meetings, fundrasiers and did everything they could to help out.

They've played an incredible amount of games for a squad of about 14(Mathews doesnt do subs) and we dont have any quality going forward.

It was an awful performance but they were quite simply wrecked. Some of them were in tears afterwards apologising for the performance.

Most of them were playing knowing they were unemployed at 9.30 and not knowing where the next paycheck was coming from.

They got the response they deserved for the season they put in, despite the performance that night.

    Legends.

From our chairman in today's press

"Our average attendance figure for the year was roughly 2,000 supporters. People talked about crowds of 3,500 and 4,000 fans attending Brandywell Stadium, that did not happen once last season," he insisted"

So foot.ie has the average at 3,363 and the Derry chairman states that they didn't get one crowd over 3,500?

Whats your take on that quote? Is he still only referring to the paying customers and not season tickets?

I know its a lie, I seen the attendance against Harps with my own eyes. Unless he forgot about that one.

    Sshhhhhhh

Good news is next year Derry only have to pay 15% of the gate instead of the 17.5% since 1985.
So if you think Bohs are big read this. http://www.astronomy.ie/perpespective.html

He has to be talking about paying at the turnstiles/ticket booths as there were nearly 2,000 Harps fans at the first game.

On my post above, we only have to pay VAT on tickets sold for a match night as we don't pay VAT on season ticket sales.

We had over 1,600 season ticket for last season so the figures do add up apart from the Harps and Linfield games.
