ok could somebody tell me if mckeever is gone or not? and as for ' the demise of the club' talk, thats a bit much. but who would take over? would they look for an experienced outside manager or have town somebody ready within the club to take over? cant think of an obvious replacement myself.

I haven't heard and I am sure if he were, it would be known by now. I think Martin Quinlivan would be a good choice but I doubt if Town have a replacement. McKeever will have to go himself, nobody in the club would have the bottle to challenge him. This club is on the verge of collapse. I am judging it by the high standards that have been set.

Complexman- I ain't get into another discussion about any member of the commitee, I have made my feelings known. I haven't seen or heard anything to change my view

I have heard that as well, I will believe when I see it. Mind you a few people had it so there must be some truth in it

From what I am told there was a meeting last night of the committee and they tried to change his mind but no joy. McKeever era is over- apparently

from my expierience of playing against Town for the past 10 years i think the players attitude, committment, and will to win will be more than enough to carry them through this turbulent period(possible change of manager, and unrest behind scenes)every club has its different ''eras"and this is the end of one and the beginning of another..... and if winning your first 5 league games is on the verge of collapse i wish wy club would hurry up and collapse fairly soon!!!

If Martin Quinlivan doesn't want it, Paul would be a good choice

Don't think he will, unless he is asked. Anyway it will be all hurling tonight. Still, I think he is the best person on that show and if people keep having a go at him, he will leave Clonmel Town and from what I know he would be a bigger loss.
Hoepfully he will clarify the McKeever situation, a lot of rumours going around.

I was talking to a few people around Clonmel at the weekend and they didn't seem to know anything about McKeever leaving, so it looks like he's still there!

Heard Muiris Walsh on Tipp FM last night and he confirmed that McKeever had not resigned. So thats the end of that.
Anyway back to matters on the field, was at Celtic v Rosegreen. Celtic looked good against a poor side. Rosegreen and Cahir in big trouble.
Celtic are playing well and could yet be a force, especially in the cups

Cant get over injuries though have not had anywhere near a full team so far this season a decent crack at the league is gone as a result and i just hope it doesnt get celtic knocked out of the cups as a result.
