He skipped bail and then went back?? I knew footballers were thick but that one takes the biscuit.
Noel Bailie is club captain.
Can't take them anywhere.
I was told today Winky is back in the country and has been for the last 2 days.
Not to be utterly unsympathetic as he hasn't been convicted of anything ...If I'd skipped bail from a country I'd think hard on returning to it for a family funeral, much less a stag, and would probably try and get in and out of the country over land rather than through a domestic airport.
Why did this mensa-boy not consider flying into, say, Faro instead and driving over to Malaga?
FFS you just wouldn't be stupid enough to go back.
maybe it was a counterfeit William Murphy flaoting around Belfast
You could not make that story up, its unreal

The outcome should be known today shouldn't it?
Released on bail.

Talk about a PR disaster for the Irish League
It is though. JJB end sponsorship and the league now has to look for another deal with someone else. One of the biggest stories that is going to run and run for the next while is the biggest teams club captain involved in what is regarded as a serious crime.
Why did the guy go back??????:confused:
Maybe I could answer your point with a question. What could the League have done to prevent this "PR disaster?"
