The Cork Aul are in with the Limerick Aul an the Kerry league only,Waterford aint in it with them.
cork aul v kerry the oct weekend.anyone know when limerick play and how did clare end up in donegals group.
As far as I know an I have this on fairly good authority Cork Aul is lookin to play the Kerry game is on Friday night the 24th in Cork(presumeably in Turners Cross or Blarney)an the Limerick one away on the Sunday 26th of the same weekend.
to be honest its either that are he wouldnt get the commitment from the bigger clubs.Remember at that stage all things goin well you would expect your better sides to be still envolved in the Fai/Mjc/Msc an a free weekend for an Oscar match isnt always welcome when a club side is tryin to gain some momentum. We have 7 on the Cork panel an I wasnt exactly delighted to be told they are going to train the night before we play Newmarket Celtic in the Senior cup.As is down here they can only train with the Oscar side on Friday nights because there clubs train Tue/Thur an with games Saturday the top clubs are weary of lettin there players train the night before a big cup/league game ect ect
anyone no what group the UCL are in

Gilmartin,Sherlock,Goggin,Cummins(AA) McGarry,Hartnett,Purcell,Boyle,Phelan(Pike) Sheehan,Mullins,Russell(Regional) Grant,Harrington(Fairview) Burke(Mungret) D Ryan(Boro) Guerin(Balla) Heffernan(Kilmallock)
you telling me pa moloney+pat mullins c,doyle+heffernan arent picked
How is Wayne O'Donovan not in that squad? Ridiculous!!!
you will always have the argument that there is not alot of quality players in it.everybody has there own opinion like every year about who should and should not be in the squad.afterall they only lost the final by a penalty shootout lastyear.you could put out 2 squads from limerick that would be as good as each other.last years squad performed better than the last few years before so i dont think its much of a suprise that he picked most of the same players.
Heffernan isnt having a great start to the season with kilmallock, maybe he will come into his own sooner or later.
Can't understand anyone that would think it is a waste of time.Everyone has their own opinion but at the end of the day it is a chance to represent your city so i think you should take the oppurtunity when it arises and be proud of the fact that you have got picked.
To be fair in years gone by it has been a joke but speaking to a few of the players in it last year they thought that it was well run. So if thats the case then it's definately not a waste of time. It's still a shop window which the irish junior manager uses to see players. Good luck to the team again this year, hopefully we'll go one better than last year. This is the squad for the first game we'll see changes to the squad for each game. Every player in town should be looking to get into the squad as its recognition for how well your doing for your club.
