great win for bruff after goin a goal down in the 2nd half to a peno..bounced straight back and deserved the win..ref had a good game too even though there was alot of play acting from the away team and asking the ref to book players not nice to see
kennedy park 1 shelbourne 1 .ref ollie hayes had ashocker gave a goal to shels to equalise after ablatant handball.he was then surrounded by K.P. players and 2 guys who came in of the line.there protests worked becuse shels then scored a perfectly good goal which ollie disallowed.when asked after the game why he dissallowed the goal he said offside when it was pointed out that the ball was passed back from the endline he then changed his answer. after all that a draw was a fair result.

Heard Artlunkard are objecting against the Boro onthe grounds of players on the card not signed. I was at the game and Boro struggled to fill a team like they do most weeks, and like they did last season when they had to give walk overs and were thrown out of the leauge. Artlunkard were 2 up with 30 minutes to go and lost 3-2. They way I look at it, it was 11 v 11 and they threw it away, sour grapes from supposedly football men in charge there, why teams cant take a beating in this town if beyond me. Artlunkard should be embarrased..... they won't get nowhere near promotion because they are not good enough.. from what I could see Boro beat them fair and square on the pitch. And I'm not a Boro man. I was at the game because it was on in the afternoon...
if boro had players on the card that are not signed then IMO atlunkard are dead right to lodge an objection regardless of winning or losin the match..Quote:

The player in question is a sub goalkeeper who was asked to play out field because we were stuck, who signed a form at the start of the season, so it's not that clear cut. As for athlunkard thay were well beaten on the day by half a Boro team thay were going around with iPhones taking photos and everything, u would swear someone was murdered. But I know thay won't be promoted because there not good enough.
Sorry now rocky, I am manager of athlunkard villa and its as simple as this if you cannot field a team on a sunday morning you should not be in the league. A team has to abide by the rules, we had philip clancy on the sideline serving a one match ban but we did not play him. I have 16 lads training twice a week and there every sunday , wheter we finish firth or last is not the point at least we'll finish there playing a legitimate athlunkard side. Ye had 5 illegal players sunday, thats that, and there is a bit of pots and kettles here as the boro objected against athlunkard to gain promotion in the not so distant past, as for us not getting promoted this is very probable playing as we are right now, but at least I know we will have a full team every week at least trying, and it was only 2 months ago we beat boro 6-1 so I think the boro proved that anyone can improve;-)Quote:

i think the problem here is "why the boro had to play illegal players rather than should athlunkard object" if i played for them i would be more upset with fellas that didnt bother to turn up.
I know nothing about the Boro objecting to anything and I don't care the point I'm trying to make is ye were 2 up and lost 3-2 to as one poster said an over 40's team, It's the players ye are complaining about that gets me, they wouldn't get into a div 4 team. I think it says more about how ye played than who played for the boro. They will will more then likely lose the 3 points and i don't know how it works, whether Artlunkard get them or not, I'm just saying if I was involved with a club I wouldn't want the 3 points that way, I'd be trying to find out why my team gave away a 2 goal lead. And as i said I have nothing to do with the Boro so "Ye" didn't have 5 illegal players. If ye get the points good luck to ye for the rest of the season but I don't think ye earned them.
Disappointing to see a club like the Boro struggle to field a b team especially when they have so many A players signed. Looks like they will lose points from Sunday and could very easily go same way as last year. Could be a couple of decent players to be picked up in January.
As for Athlunkard they are right to object but I have to laugh at Kk11. How much Boro have improved since ye beat them 6-1. The Boro b team Sunday was shocking, a keeper who is a centre forward, two lads over 42, a centre forward who has not played in 12 years. 11 scraped together by all accounts, how Boro are second reflects badly on this division

rocky 100, so what you wanted was for the players to stop playing and walk off the field. The game had to be played rocky as we would have been punished for not playing the fixture. simply as that. The card gets filled out during the game, so most teams don't get to see it until the FINAL WHISTLE. Did you know that? we fill out the card and pass it back to the ref during the game.... what I can't stand is people who go out and watch matches on a sunday morning/afternoon then come on here hide behind a user name and slate teams.Quote:
