just what the league needs.......
What's the deadline for the submission of the financial aspects of the FAI's domestic/Uefa Licence applications?
Surely Dungannon would be able to get the info from Celtic if needs be?
Strange situation, in one way it would serve as a warning to other clubs to pay their dues but, on the other hand it would be a huge blow to the league and especially Harps if Derry were to be wound up.
So the theory goes. In practice however.....
My guess would be that DCFC can get away with it if Dungannon make an agreement with them. Given that denying DCFC a license would mean that they have no hope of seeing their money, I'd imagine an accommodation will be reached. Much depends on DSFC's willingness to really play hardball, but given how badly they've been treated you never know.
I think if they are seeking a winding up order we can assume its well into hardball territory....
Maybe they just think it's how things work down here?
That'd be the biggest stretch since Monroe's "warm handshake".
According to today's Newspaper, Derry City have got until tomorrow afternoon to furnish the High Court in Belfast with the details of the transfer agreement relating to McGinn’s move to Celtic. This despite the fact that Derry pointed out that there is a confidentiality clause in the deal that stops them revealing details.
Which paper was that?
Northern Ireland edition of the Star on Sunday. The article is based on comments made by the chairman of Dungannon. He's not a happy camper!!!
