I was lucky, got off the tube at Moorgate moments before the first of the bombs went off.

Saying that though, isnt he involved with some ambulance group? They are probably up the walls at the moment. Hopefully he's on the right side of the trolly :o
St John Ambulance. They will definitely be called out to major incidents like this. We were put on standby for callout when the flooding hit Dublin a couple of years back, so they'd certainly be involved over there. That said, Liam's only 16 or 17 (assuming 88 is his date of birth), so would either be in cadets or a low-ranking adult, so would at least avoid the worst of the work...Quote:

I'm alright! Got back from London yesterday and frantically been trying to make sure my uncle in Russel Sqaure is alright (he is!). Was up at my St. John Ambulance division tonight-the adults got called out to cover Guildford while the Surrey Ambulances went to London. As a cadet I wasn't required. Thank you so much for the concern it means so much.
To the scum who bombed London today you will never win! You are filth and cowards and you will NEVER beat us!
Liam's profile reckons he was online just a few minutes ago.
EDIT: Heh, beat me to it.
I had to walk from oxford circus home. i dont care. I cant comprehend what has happened to people i see everyday on the tube. im upset, angry and shocked. I was very lucky. My tube pulled in at the time of the bomb at kings cross going off. my driver saw a flash as we puled in and sent staff on the evacuated station to check on it - didnt think anything much of it at the time. I know im lucky, and i know im grateful, but i cant stop thinking of those poor people. i personaly dont want to read posts about people being thrown from their seats on the bus or how much blood there was. i know everyone deals with things differently, but if im honest i was reduced to tears in my office earlier reading some of them. Its all pretty raw for anyone in London, and its each to their own, im not kickong off. I think im just goign to leave everyone to it, and go to bed soon, as I have to be on the victoria line or central london buses tomrrow. im upset, and ive had enough, sorry.
I cannot belive this. I just can't.....
Babysis, LEmudo so glad to hear you are ok-Peader I am praying for you mate. I can't believe it I was on those trains the day before yesterday. I watched it unfold in the college canteen-the same tv we cheered when London got the olympics yesterday. I jsut cannot believe this is haoppening. Thank you so much guys for all the concern-you all rock
This is a terrible day :(
Is Lopez ok? He drives the tubes

I hope the get the scum that were responsible for this. Cowardly sumbags.
It's sickening really.
Glad to hear you're ok Peadar.
