Who's to say there would've been more offers, he just saw one offer on the table and probably took it in case nothing else came along
The only benefit I can think is that he's able to showacse himself to the Glasgow or Edinburgh clubs.
Like I said that comes down to the shop window situation, he's got a lot better prospects playing in that league than the EL I'm afraid
