It's hardly just a wild panic or stab in the dark. Team gets thrown out of the league, FAI ask IAG of the 4 teams accepted into the A-Championship which is nearest to (or indeed capable already of) meeting the criteria for the 1st Division. IAG tell them SF...

.... but sure why pass up an opportunity to have a dig at the FAI/eL at any chance, warranted or unwarranted.... :rolleyes:

The 2 galway teams were invited rather than applied as they did not have enough applicants so id say the whole system is a joke.

Where did anybody say anything about clubs being invited to join the first division? He's obviously talking about Mervue and Salthill's participation in the A League. Anybody with any kind of langauge skills can see that. :rolleyes:
